Charmaine graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2022, completing a Bachelor of Commerce (2019) and a Juris Doctor. 

Before joining Steedman Stagg Lawyers in 2021, Charmaine worked in a finance role for an international construction company, and in music education, all whilst gaining experience law clerking in various legal practices across Singapore and Perth. She had a focus on commercial law.          

Under the guidance of Nick and James, Charmaine transitioned in 2022 from her role at SSL as a Law Clerk to Solicitor.

Charmaine was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in December 2022.

She has since found her passion working in the areas of commercial & corporate disputes, defamation, and trusts & estates work.

Charmaine is committed to helping her clients. She is an advocate for identifying different ways to try and settle disputes as amicably and cost-effectively as possible. She has an empathetic approach, allowing her to provide practical and helpful advice catered to each unique situation.
